BRICKLIVE GROUP
Product research and development associate
Things I accomplished when starting this journey:
Created 33% of the material in the Bricklive Education Model.
Was responsible for developing courses that help nurture abstract thinking, problem solving and critical skills.
Developed Winter Olympic themed lessons for a client that would be hosting the 2020 China Winter Olympics.
Helped produce lessons that would be instrumental in promoting WWF (World Wild Life) goals with the endorsement of the Prince of Monaco.
Prince Albert went to the "BRICKLIVE Animal Paradise show" at the ‘Birds Nest’ Olympic Stadium in Beijing. This exhibition focuses on endangered species under threat of extinction in their natural habitats with full-scale reproductions by Lego to demonstrate the need to protect biodiversity and the environment.
The educational team focused on bringing new educational alternatives to the old fashioned Chinese educational system.
Worked with Minecraft Education, Lego Education, VR Education and Vex.
Trained potential clients in our educational material and set a standard for teaching the materials.
HIGHLIGHTS
TRAVELING TO FULONG
The host of the 2020 Chinese winter olympics
First time traveling to a Ski Resort and meeting a potential client with my team members. It was absolutely a blast to be a apart of something that was going to be apart of the 2020 Winter Olympics. This was when we went to discuss the terms of the contract.
OPENING OF OUR FIRST CENTER
SOFT OPENING
This was the grand opening of our very first center which was in Fulong. It was a surreal moment to see all of our hard work finally being paid off. The day had a lot of media attention as well as some important figures attending the event which was pretty nerve wracking. The day was a success and ended with a big party celebrating everything!
BRICKLIVE x WWF
Raising awareness of endangered species
This would be the last show I would see before heading back to the states. A lot of the employees didn’t think that this would go through due to varying circumstances with the Bird’s Nest, but in the end, everything worked out and we were able to hold it. The Prince of Monaco, Prince Albert, attended the show in support of the message.
