KLD BOSTON COFFEE
Opened up the first coffee shop with expresso in nha trang, vietnam.
Things I accomplished when starting this journey:
Constantly maintained a strong SWOT analysis on my business.
Improved the Food & Beverage menu.
Introduced expresso to the city.
Teamed up with local musicians to help improve the mood of the cafe.
Hosted musical nights to increase brand awareness.
The cafe went through two changes that targeted different demographics.
While working with my dad the target demographic was more geared towards the older audience.
The older demographic tends to stay longer so the food & beverages were more proper and the drinks were more traditional like Vietnamese Coffee.
While working with my cousins the target demographic was more geared towards the younger generation.
The younger generation was more into the vibe and feel of the cafe so the food & beverages were more a long the lines of snacks and fancy new drinks like Cheese Banana Smoothie.
Implemented a wall where customers can sign and mark with their fingerprints to give a sense of personality to the cafe.
Offered special deals on certain holidays like Valentine’s Day and Christmas.
Helped designed the menu for the cafe.
HIGHLIGHTS
Re-Opening of the Cafe
Opened in october 2016
This was one of my first ventures in Vietnam. I invested into this cafe alongside with family and it was honestly a very scary, but fun time. The cafe took a full 180 and was completely different from when my dad ran it.
WRITING WALL
Personal touch
The wall was looking a little bland so we decided to add a nice personal touch to it. We came up with the idea to have customers write down their name and the date. To add more to it, we had the customers mark their fingerprints with red and press them up against the wall like a signature to make it more unique.
DRINK SELECTIONS
Lots of different drinks to choose from
Just photos of the different drinks you could order at the cafe. Tons of unique and fresh options to choose from. The choices included fresh squeezed juices, smoothies, cafes and teas.
